Description

The Tomato Plant is the starter tower obtained upon joining the game for the first time, being totally free. Additionally, this tower is cheaper than most towers in Garden Tower Defense so it can be placed immediately from the start of the game.
Since this tower is not viable in late waves, it remains a valuable tool for new players learning the game.

How to use?

  • The Tomato Plant is mainly used as an early-game tower due to its very low cost and lo damage overall.
  • Placing down multiple Tomato Plants early on can help you survive the first waves while you save up for stronger towers.
  • The tower has cheap upgrades, allowing players to boost its power slightly in the early game without sacrificing economy.
    • However, even at max level, the Tomato Plant has very low DPS (damage per second) compared to other towers.
  • Starting around wave 10, the Tomato Plant begins to be outclassed by almost every other offensive tower.
    • This lack of scaling makes it nearly useless in mid and late-game, especially when enemies become faster and tankier.
  • In challenging modes like Endgame or Enchanted Mode, the Tomato Plant is generally not viable due to its poor damage output.
