Halloween Story Mode is the first ever story mode Gamemode in Garden Tower Defense. It is an easy way to practice with good units and have fun at the same time because the units are set for every player.

- Story mode consist of three progressive maps.
- Story mode has two puzzles
- Puzzle 1 is right between map one and two and is a maze in which a spider chases you.
- Puzzle 2 is parkour found between map two and three and is a parkour course to the final map.
- There were three rewards given out if you completed the story mode. This rewards consist of Saw O'Lantern, Maze Creeper, and a trading booth skin called the Tombstone Tradepost. These rewards are now limited as they were only claimable for one week.
