Description
The Tomato Plant is the starter tower obtained upon joining the game for the first time, being totally free. Additionally, this tower is cheaper than most towers in Garden Tower Defense, costing only File:Money.png 40 so it can be placed immediately from the start of the game.
How to use?
- The Tomato Plant is mainly used as an early-game tower due to its very low cost and low damage overall.
- Placing down multiple Tomato Plants on early waves (1-5) on can help you survive the first waves while you save up for stronger and better towers.
- The tower has cheap upgrades, allowing players to increase its power in the early game without spending too much money.
- However, even at max level, the Tomato Plant has very low DPS (damage per second) compared to other towers.
- Starting around wave 10, the Tomato Plant begins to be outclassed by almost every other offensive tower.
- In challenging modes like Endgame or Enchanted Mode, the Tomato Plant is generally not viable due to its low damage and low DPS.
